I hear on the grapevine that the 2 Wessex at Rstt at Wagga have been purchased by the FAA museum at Nowra. That is 813&832. Good to see they will be preserved. I am attempting to get some more information on the two as to where they will go. Early days yet I guess.

Yes, that's exactly what's happened with them. Wagga has disposed of it's surplus airframes within the ADF system, which is great news.

ONLY WAY TO "FLY" a WETTEX! Close to the ground - no water - no engine. :-) Plenty of training wheels and no flapping blades to worry about.

I had a good look at these two Friday before last.
They seem to be in reasonable condition but in need of some TLC.
Unfortunately I'm not fond of spiders and these things were full of them!
