Through a link in another site I was made aware of an interesting site called the 'Central Repository for Aviation Photos'. Mainly covers US military and many well-known photos but a scan through the various albums reveals some unusual shots obviously from private collections. Australian aircraft noticed on a quick visit include Meteors in Korea, RAN Fireflies in Tobruk and Korea, Sea Furies in Korea and a complete album from HMAS Sydney. It may be well known but I have not seen it before. The easiest way to search seems to be to use the 'Albums' tag as this sorts by aircraft type or unit. If interested take a look at:
