I am current doing some research into RAAF Iroquois operations and wondered if anyone know the aircraft number of the UH-1B SAR Iroquois from Williamtown that Angus Houston flew when he was awarded the Air Force Cross in 1979.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

G'day Ryan,

It was a 9SQN UH-1H, A2-377 off Evans Head September 1979. The crewmen, CPLs Sandy Roman and Dave Russell, were awarded AFMs. Co pilot was Lou Langford. ACM Houston was in the right seat when she touched down at Pt Cook for the last time on 30JUN07.
