Hi All,

It's been a while. I hope everyone's been well.

Just as an FYI - I've started uploading photos from my various trips over the past 10+ years to a Flickr account at the URL below:-

http://www.flickr.com/photos/projectpriam/sets/

Feel free to use them on the site where you see fit (I've already e-mailed Martin about this).

I'll continue to add more over the next few weeks (really need to scan a whole heap of older pics from airshows etc).

Enjoy...

Daniel Leahy

Hi All,

Great news, Daniel.
I have given myself a similar project and will likely keep myself busy scanning and uploading for many months yet.
Flickr is an excellent medium, ideal for sharing all of those aircraft photos I have taken over the years. Search for "Aerophotos54" and feel free to look around. I have allowed downloads. After all that is the idea - to share our hobby.

Regards,

Bruce Linwood

Thanks to both Daniel and Bruce for use of their photos.
I have just added another selection of Bruce's fine photos to the image gallery.
I will add some more of Daniel's as he uploads them.

No worries.

Going through adding a few more from my collection (including some relating to P-40E A29-8).

No worries.

Have been continuing to add stuff - a heap in the past week from my trip to Darwin. Still need to scan quite a lot from previous travels.

Will be hopefully checking out the wreck of Boomerang A46-173 this afternoon, so will get photos of that up ASAP.

Cheers,

Daniel

Thanks Daniel
Our image gallery is fast becoming one of the most comprehensive for aircraft of the Australain Defence Forces and their predecessors.
We have now passed the 16,000 mark (the 15,000 was reached only last December) so a thousand photos uploaded, captioned and placed in albums in a couple of months is quite an achievment.
This time two years ago we hadn't cracked the 10.000 mark
In the eight years that I have been involved we have gone from only a few images, mainly by Darren, Grahame, myself and a few others to where we are today.
The change has been from having to actively hunt down photos, which I still do to a certain extent, to being in the very fortunate position where photographers such as yourself and Bruce Linwood have opened their on-line collections to us and members like Mike Mirkovic and Aardvark are uploading photos from their sources.
What I am getting at is I sometimes struggle to upload everything as quick as I like but hope that you will all bear with me.
...and I still have quite a backlog to upload!
To anyone that I have forgotten to mention I apologise, every contribution is very much appreciated.
Reagrds
Martin
