I'm sure that putting this online will help reveal answers to the gaps in our information.

I sometime think that publishing online is one of the better ways of researching given the response that we often get from the readership!

I remember helping train some of the PNG 'Air Force' guys many years ago at ARDU when we were giving them Dakotas and Nomads. One thing that stood out was their sense of humour, when asked how they were selected for training the reply was: "They shook the trees, those that fell down were maintainers, those that managed to hold on were pilots".

I like to know if the two CT.4E that are on order are ex RNZAF aircraft or new built?

Yeah,..two of those and four PAC 750XSTOLs on order. Last CT-4Es ran off the line in 2003 I think. Maybe some spare parts catalogue and spare fuselages being assembled?

Details in December 2016 Telegraph Newsletter "news" ,..well that was a coincidence,...
