Did not have time to look if the old thread about the F-111 crash on takeoff (water into engine) in 1979 at OHAKEA still exists. Anyway it came to my attention today that the pilot later deck landed an S-2 aboard HMAS Melbourne - I gather he was on exchange (with a RAAF navigator acting in another crew as a TACCHO/Observer I guess)?
